My Story
My Scentsy story:
I have done a few different direct sales lines. And I still do! I do Avon as well and used to do Younique!
I started with an inventory based one, but struggled with spending money to keep inventory on hand. While I made some money, I felt that all I got done doing was reinvesting on more inventory without making a profit! I was just always spending money but not making what I spent or even more! Plus, there’s only so much room to store everything!
My sister in law sold Scentsy and I had already done a party and now I was just ALWAYS buying Scentsy! I was on her website ordering more and realize how much my total was at checkout! THATS when it hit me! My purchase was probably enough to be a party, or could be with a bulk order with friends! Free stuff!
But then this thought hit me! “Why was I paying full price for a product that I loved and bought often!“
So I started researching, and asking questions! And I found that the value of the kit alone was worth joining! While I haven’t used a few of the items, they make great gift ideas! Well worth the $99 investment!
With all of the uncertainty going on around us every day, not knowing if I would be working or staying home, doing this made more and more sense!
I don’t have to leave the house to still have earning potential! And I’m earning commission on products I would be buying anyway! I’ll just say that the initial 20% commission was worth it to me!
I sub at schools in the mornings then head to my full time job in the after noon and still sell Scentsy!!! If I can do this with 2 jobs anyone else can do it!
I can honestly say, my house smells amazing! Between the wax melts and the cleaners, my house can smell like I want it to that day, or week! It can smell like I just baked a pie, or maybe made fresh lemonade! Or like a fresh spring breeze just went through the house! Oh, the memories a simple smell can bring to mind!
The Spring and Summer Season has just started up! What better time to join than now? Just in time for all the fresh smells of fall, and the seasonal smells of the holidays! Mmmmm! Smells so good!
